Small tray / pocket tray Pulchraimago-Milano, hand-made, all exclusively Made in Italy, in pure Venetian glass.
The image is taken from a tiny detail visible in the artwork “ Ice Skating in a village ”by Hendrick Avercamp, c. 1610, kept in the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.
Pills of Pulchra Imago: Hendrick Avercamp was one of the first landscape painters of the 17th century Dutch school, he specialized in the winter landscapes of his country. Avercamp's paintings are colorful and vibrant, with a careful placement of the characters on the stage. Now preserved together with other works by Avercampo at the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, dating back to around 1609, it is strongly influenced by the style of Pieter Bruegel the Elder.
